This principal may have acted too soon, but the fact that he cares enough to alert everyone says much about him/her. The principal should be in trouble for this. This principal knows the law. Ice cannot go on school grounds without a judicial warrant. It is almost non existent for an elementary school child to have any kind of warrant. Also schools dont collect information for legal status of its students. Ice knows this. Violation of the law will put you in one of their immigration detention centers for a time before paying a fine and deportation. Mexicos immigration police is bigger than our ice agency. The largest detention center in north America is not located in the usa. Its located in Tapachula Mexico. It is very overcrowded and known for abuse of its inmates
